Baby Shower Preview

As I said in my last post, I’d love to temporarily freeze time, but I’m sure my very pregnant friend feels differently. So, I’m left with two choices—I can either dread the impending changes or opt to embrace them. And this weekend I choose to embrace change, especially since a party is involved!

Jen and I have been planning Caitlin’s baby shower for weeks and weeks. We are now down to the wire and I’ve spent the weekend tying up loose ends.

And by “loose ends,” I mean making pinwheel cupcake toppers

picking up gluten free, red velvet cupcakes from Polka Dot Bake Shop

(I can’t promise that all of these cupcakes will make it to the party tomorrow.)

making decorations

and dragging out every last serving dish I own.

Fingers crossed that all goes well tomorrow!
