First, I want to thank everyone for the positive comments and reactions to my first guest post on The Edible Perspective! Ashley graciously gave me the opportunity and it was really fun to collaborate with another blogger—thanks again Ashley! 🙂
This weekend I plan to update my About page to include the details of my running injury as well as, my perspective on food and diet. I hope y’all will stick around while I get my act together! 😉
In other news, Hump Day is almost over! This view kept me entertained while I was in a meeting this morning–can’t complain.
For lunch I went to an Indian restaurant with co-workers. It was tasty but, I prefer lighter meals during the work day. I’ve always wondered how people eat a heavy meal at lunchtime and manage to stay awake!
Now only a few hours stand between me and Yin yoga (aka Long Slow Deep) at my studio. Keep your fingers crossed that I survive!

I love Sangam’s mango pudding! I know what you mean about heavy meals for lunch, though — they make me sleepy, too!
My favorite Indian restaurant in Charlotte is now Spice 9 over by Concord Mills (so maybe it’s technically in Concord?) Such good food, if you’re an Indian fan!
It was pretty good. I didn’t try any of the puddings because they weren’t labeled and I didn’t know what they were—darn. The only other Indian place I’ve been to is Copper on East Blvd….really good, but really $$$.
Beautiful photos!
Thanks! I’m trying to learn to use my camera. It is definitely a work in progress. I’m also having some fun with Photoshop. It really helps when your camera has limited capabilities.
Wow! Is that first photo for real? It is gorgeous!
It was gorgeous! I had fun playing with Photoshop. The water part is real and the grass is amped up.
